Hello World! This is SAN, the Stream Art Network, free consortium of partners linking together with research, tests, remote and hybrid collaboration in the spectrum of stream art, hybrid publication, streaming studies and hybrid togetherness in telematic and transversal mood, in artistic research and practice-based collaboration here and there...
Streamart practices โ within the current landscape of post-digital culture under late platformism โ constitute organic forms of reinvention and reclaiming of relationality and horizontality at the basic level of hybrid actions and the reconfiguration of modular, linking infrastructure; through the social dimension of circular๐, telematic (or rather - remote, and hybrid) co-creation; and up to aesthetic and ethical expression in a condition of permanent change and processing๐ฆ . These are unstable, collage-like, modular, critical yet simultaneously affirmative practices of hybrid togetherness โ affirming errors, fractures, breaks, discontinuities, returns, leakiness, and the insufficiency of tools and users.
StreamArtNetwork (SAN) is a distributed array of green-screen studios and hybrid media labs spanning Krakow, Amsterdam, Kyiv, Budapest, Coventry, Vilnius, Trondheim, and Berlin, along with other temporal nodes. SAN streams against war, neo-imperialism, and platform monopolies, and for circular aesthetics, redistributed resources, and radically accessible media tools. The long-term mission is simple: a green-box studio and collaborative media lab in every institution, to reclaim the internet, archives, and digital culture through direct, equal, multi-directional communication across political, geographical, and technological boundaries.
The call is open. Visit UKRAiNATV, Konfluxus, INC Amsterdam, 3022, CDI Warwick, Chicks on Speed, Watermelon Studios, or the transmediale 2026 partner programme, go follow the streams, or drop into the temporary signal break. SAN is a distributed interface for hybrid togetherness๐. And this #tranversal website is a research-based continuation of this trip...
